I ATE THAT: ODDFELLOWS ICE CREAM
I am an ice cream fiend. It doesn't matter the temperature, I can eat it year round. When / if the day comes for me to have a wedding, I will definitely have an ice cream station. Admittedly, my favorite ice cream ever is vanilla Haagen Daaz, because listen, it's pretty much perfect in every way. Don't debate me. It just is. But this doesn't mean that I won't try other flavors. I hardly ever buy my favorite because there are so many flavors that exist and I also know that I will eat a pint for all of my meals in a day. And that's just not a good look when it comes down to it.
But we're not here to talk about my love for a basic vanilla. We're here to talk about the deliciousness that is from Oddfellows in Brooklyn. I initially heard about it because all of the cool foodies on Instagram were posting about the Summer carnival pop-up at Chef's Corner. Their flavors change daily so you will always find something yummy to try. I never made it to the carnival, but I did find my way to the Williamsburg, Brooklyn location, so I made it my business to try it. I wanted everything, but I settled on the oatmeal cookie ice-cream and Thai iced tea ice cream. I was not disappointed. The best thing about this shop is that it's not in my neighborhood because I can't make any promises about not going there at least once a week. You know, just for a taste. Oh and another thing, they even have lactaid tablets.
