NYC Restaurant Week
It’s that time of year again! That time being NYC’s Restaurant week. This event has been going on for 27 years. Growing up, my mom and I would go to some out of reach (pricewise) restaurants to check out something new. It’s a great way to explore many of the food options that New York City has to offer. Restaurant week started January 21 and ends February 8. So that means you still have a week and some change to make your reservations. The meals are prix-fixed for lunch and / or dinner (some restaurants only do a lunch option). The lunch option is
I used to only go to the steakhouses because those are usually the most pricey, but last year I went to Fig and Olive, and loved it. I think that’s when I found an appreciation for burrata and I haven’t looked back since. This year I want to try Pig and Khao, Hunt and Fish Club, Brooklyn Chop House and once I really take a look at the full offerings, there will likely be more. In the end, I’m just ready to eat.
And don’t worry, if you miss the winter session, this event will be back in the summer.
